Armadale 4WD — Terms & Conditions of Service
1.1. The Customer acknowledges that Armadale 4WD goods and services are provided in accordance with the guarantees and protections contained in the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to the Customer under the ACL.
2.1. New parts supplied by Armadale 4WD are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
2.2. Armadale 4WD warrants its labour against defects in workmanship for a period of 3 months or 5,000km from the date of completion.
2.3. Warranty claims must be made promptly upon discovery of the defect, and the vehicle must be returned to Armadale 4WD for inspection.
2.4. Warranty does not apply to failures arising from misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow maintenance recommendations.
3.1. Armadale 4WD provides no warranty for customer-supplied parts, whether express or implied.
3.2. Armadale 4WD accepts no liability for: (a) the suitability, compatibility, or condition of customer-supplied parts; (b) labour associated with their installation; (c) any damage, additional labour, or consequential loss arising from their use or failure.
3.3. Any additional labour required due to issues with customer-supplied parts will be charged at Armadale 4WD standard rates.
4.1. Any quote or estimate provided is based on the information available at the time and may be subject to variation.
4.2. Armadale 4WD will make reasonable efforts to obtain the Customer’s approval before undertaking additional work.
4.3. Where the Customer cannot be contacted, Armadale 4WD may proceed with essential repairs necessary for safety or to prevent further damage.
5.1. Payment is due upon completion of the services and prior to release of the vehicle, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.2. Armadale 4WD may retain possession of the vehicle until full payment is received (a mechanic’s lien).
5.3. Storage fees may apply for vehicles not collected within 5 days of notification of completion.
6.1. Armadale 4WD is not liable for loss or damage arising from: (a) pre-existing faults or defects; (b) customer-supplied parts; (c) undisclosed modifications; (d) personal items left inside the vehicle.
6.2. Armadale 4WD is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss, including loss of income or vehicle downtime.
7.1. If the Customer declines recommended safety-related repairs, Armadale 4WD may require a signed acknowledgement before releasing the vehicle.
7.2. Armadale 4WD may refuse to release a vehicle deemed unsafe until the Customer acknowledges the risks.
8.1. Vehicles not collected within 5 days may incur storage fees of $30 per day.
8.2. Vehicles left uncollected for more than 30 days may be treated as abandoned and dealt with in accordance with Western Australian law.
9.1. By authorising repairs, signing a job card, or leaving the vehicle with Armadale 4WD, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
